"I really could not be happier with KLUXUR1 Jewelry, and especially with Kevin Romero, who has worked with me now on TWO ring designs in the past year! After researching jewelers - and checking prices with local jewelers - I travelled 6 hours to Miami to work with KLUXUR! My first custom ring is beautiful and was a great and seamless experience. We told them the size, cut, and color of the stone we wanted, and they had ordered 5 stones for us to choose from when we arrived. Kevin then worked with us on the setting. A CAD design was sent to us for approval, and the ring arrived about a week later. We were very impressed with the process and result. The ring is absolutely stunning! The second ring was a much more personal, and much more complicated project, and I want to share the details. This ring is very special to me! I wanted to incorporate my grandmother’s 18kt yellow gold wedding band; along with my husband’s grandmother’s 14kt white gold band; AND my own 18kt white gold diamond anniversary band. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure if all of that could be done. But I really wanted a very special family heirloom piece. I’ll admit that I had concerns that the rings I provided would actually be used - and those concerns would have been present with any jeweler - not just KLUXUR. What if they just assured me they’d use my grandmother’s ring, but found it easier to just use gold already in their inventory? When I expressed this concern to Kevin, he promised to literally video them melting each of my rings down and then re-using the gold! Kevin asked me to send photos of rings I liked. When he saw my ideas he recommended that we upsize the diamonds that had been in my anniversary band. He bought those from me at fair market value, and purchased larger diamonds to fit the band that I wanted. Then they made a CAD model of the design. When I saw it, it was really close - but I wanted the yellow gold in the center to be a bit more pronounced. They corrected that - and then Kevin offered to make a model of the ring in silver and ship it to me so I could be sure it felt right on my finger. That resulted in a 1/4 size adjustment - perfect for this wider ring to make it the most comfortable. Once I approved the final design and size, true to his word, Kevin began to send videos as they melted down each of my rings to be re-cast into my new ring! These details are provided to demonstrate the level of care, personalized service, thoughtful design, and excellent communication provided by Kevin Romero and all of the staff at KLUXUR.
